In Memoriam: Robert Davis "Dave" Love
Dave Love   The KBUA has lost a fellow umpire and great friend.

On May 9, 2019, Dave Love, an 11 year veteran and KBUA member, passed away at the age of 62 from complications due to surgery.
Dave’s passion and love for the game could be seen in the infectious smile he took with him each time he walked onto the field. His pleasant nature and commitment to the game made him the perfect partner to work with.   Dave Love
Dave Love   Dave did more than touch the lives of his fellow umpires. He was a man of God serving as the Minister of Music and Senior Adults at Beechland Baptist Church. By the outpouring of support at his visitation and funeral, you could see that Dave certainly touched the lives of many.
The KBUA honored Dave during the 2019 postseason with a moment of silence before regional postseason games and fellow umpires wore black armbands in remembrance during those games.   Dave Love
Dave Love   Dave is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Karen Speck Love; their sons, Drew Love and Caleb Love; his brothers, William Love (Marianne) and Marc Love (Debbie); ten nieces and nephew.
We will miss you.
